The Zeta Amicae is a group of women organized as an Auxiliary under the guidelines of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated and are affiliated through local Zeta chapters. The purpose of Zeta Amicae is to lend assistance to Zeta activities, to promote good public relations among Zetas and other women in the community, to make women who are not affiliated with a Greek letter organization feel closer to the programs of a Greek group, and to assure more cooperation in community affairs sponsored by Zetas.
Amicae are women who believe in and support the ideals of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., but have not attended college. The Zeta Amicae group was established as an official auxiliary of Zeta Phi Beta during the 1948 National Convention.
